She Had A Heartbreak

She Had A Heartbreak

Her first breakup made her question,

Where did I lack? Am I enough?

Cause this time, she had no expectations,

He was her first date, her first kiss,

He held the official credit to all the first,

How could she let him go?

Her second breakup was her rebound,

To move on from someone she really did love,

How was she supposed to know that

He was a Playboy all along?

He never let her touch his phone, his cologne, his hoodie, or any of his things...

Her third breakup was her seemingly last chance to love,

Cause she thought she wouldn't have another one.

But she did...

She thought she had figured,

What do guys like the most...

Oh boy, was she wrong?

She was single for as long as she could recall,

Watching her friends get along with their,

So-called soulmate,

And here she was on the bathroom floor,

Crying and attempting to fix her mascara,

She thought she would be fine,

Everyone on social media makes it look so easy,

Self-love, self-care, self-independent,

Who needs someone else to be with?

But deep down...

Just wanted someone to rely on...

That's when she had her fourth breakup,

Her heart was now in shatters,

Maybe she didn't deserve love...

Maybe just maybe cupid was playing with her heart all along...

And she had no more break ups...

Cause she didn't have the energy to,

She thought she would be staying alone,

She did, but not for too long...

As he came like an accidental starlight...

Taking away the littlest of doubt,

Showering with kisses, cuddles and flowers,

Listening to her voice like a musical,

He did everything without asking,

Calling it the bare minimum,

She didn't realise she was falling...

And he was healing something he never dared to break...
