Shattered

What has happened is never spoken

And everything around me has been broken

There's no words just silence

Hate but not violence!

Sadness without tears

Humans without fears

When will the ground break?

Where is the open gate?

Slowly the darkness creeps

But still no one weeps!

All are withering

Hearts are shrivelling

This world has grown cold

There's no one left on to hold

I fear that I too will join them soon

Just as the light fades from the moon!

My beloved has been turned into a dove
