A 'SHE'
A 'SHE'
She was about to be killed before she could be born
But little did she know that her life was to be forlorn
Masculinity had already blocked the path
Which she would lead when her journey would start.
She spent her childhood with barbie and forcefully with kitchen sets she played
The only thing she was taught was how food could be made
She was told that school wasn't for her
Being an illiterate, her future was quite blur.
She had to marry and children she had to bear,
Her life was destined not to be fair.
Nurturing her children was only her duty,
No one, throughout her life, ever admired her beauty.
Never did she step out of that wooden door,
Many predicaments she had faced, how many more?
No one cared a bit of what she was going through.
Her life was a story of a million concealed tears,
She was just an object, since all those years.
One day at an old age home she was dropped
A couple of minutes later, her heartbeat stopped.
The ones she called her own spent their lives with glee,
But did anyone realise?
The pain,
Of a ' SHE '.
