The Change

The change wasn't all of a sudden

Neither did it happen overnight,

In fact I didn't feel anything

It was neither wrong nor right.

The change got nothing but pain,

But all I got was a little gain,

Maybe from those who left,

Or maybe from those who came.

The threads we weaved together,

Have all broken due to numb situations.

Those eyes told the secrets never revealed

Those eyes tell everything that one holds.

The eyes of a timeless friend

I hope we get back again.

Those eyes spoke softly, "your poems were too sweet"

And as I heard the words carefully I thought that it is meant to be...

Because after hearing them all that used to happen was a little tickle on my feet.

They say that nothing lasts longer than friendship

And that's what I did, changed everything which made us face a lot of hardships.

From complete strangers to playing power ranger, we all grew up.

And that is how all the change, got us to this stop.

The train next won't lead us to the same destination,

But I promise my friend.... I will never forget the place where we started and our very station.
