Shadow Always With Me
Shadow Always With Me
My Guiding Light
A shadow dark, yet swift as a bee,
Rushing through life, unseen yet free.
No matter how fierce the tempest may be,
He stands unshaken—strong as the sea.
Caught in a storm of silent despair,
How shall he face the love he holds dear?
A heart that sobs without a tear,
Bearing burdens none can hear.
No anchor to tether, no sail to steer,
Yet a beacon shines ever near.
Through boundless night and endless tide,
His love remains—a steadfast guide.
A soul so rare, a heart so true,
Seeking no glory, no grand ado.
Toiling in silence, forging ahead,
For those he loves, through paths unsaid.
He knows no dawn, nor fading light,
Endless struggles for justice and right.
As unyielding as the mountain high,
For his dear one's dream, he dares to try.
And I, his child, in shadows dwell,
Knowing his love—deep, indelible.
Years of labor, silent tears,
Today, no more shall he taste his fears.
His light spills softly upon my face,
A northern star in night's embrace.
A gleaming hope through darkened skies,
The whispering wind where solace lies.
His arms—my refuge, my safe domain,
A fortress shielding me from pain.
His hands—my comfort, my saving grace,
Lifting me up with boundless embrace.
His voice—a hymn of strength and lore,
Guiding me through right and more.
Never alone, through storm or blue,
He's been my crew, my constant truth.
O father dear, my words fall small,
Against the love you give your all.
Your heart, a sun forever bright,
Pouring warmth, my guiding light.
