Shades Of A Stranger
Shades Of A Stranger
A mermaid in the moonlight
Or a Gazelle
To the cold heart...
There she laid next to me,
Sharing the shades of the dark.
There were stars,
Never shimmering as her eyes.
Still there was pain hidden,
Scary what a smile denies.
There were voices,
Her could calm the oceans.
There were stories before,
Her I cannot rhyme.
Flying in her ecstasy,
I traced bats against the moon.
But the night has to end,
It was the Sun, glowing very soon.
Though I knew the sun will betray,
Yet I had to lose something,
She got wings!
And I was just a silly thing.
The sun rose,
With the arrogant light.
The more I cursed it,
The farther I saw her flight.
A lot left unsaid,
Wish I know, if said.
Cause she was simple,
Like Quantum Physics.
