Into The Wilderness
Into The Wilderness
To the faded memories of those days when life was easy
And wandering was my only profession.
Like a never ending dream, my world was wilder
And my eyes had every color to content a connoisseur's heart ;
The mountains were mightier enough to pillar the sky
And the lush green leaflets were long enough to hold the dew.
Clouds were my friends, synced to change their color with every blink,
Birds used to be on standby, waiting to dance and sing for the first ray of my rise ;
There was a lake too and I wonder
If the lake still holding the beautiful sunrise
In between the two falling mountains,
Merging at the blue waters.
