Seeking

If I were to breakdown in front of you,

What will you rather do?

Will you sympathise? Will you be calm?

Or will you empathize, without any blush, without no qualm?

The less when I speak, I may be screaming inside,

The less when I express, the more I may have cried.

When all people draw a different portrait of me to you,

Will you be able to understand me, will sanity ensue?

Will you entrust faith in me and not insinuate doubts?

Will you be your real self and not just act out?

Will you accept me wholeheartedly in your life and not have me adjusted?

Will you too share your heart to me and not masquerade of being falsely interested?

Will you be my shadow, when I feel all alone?

Will you speak to me, will you let me know, what for me has been forever unknown?

Without having to worry about days gone by or days to come, will you live by me in our present?

Will you not leave me and endow me serenity lest augment?

This journey, I think, only a few will care to make,

But if you choose to make, assure support until we break,

Hold hands, be the guiding light and help me through,
