Sea
Sea
Oh, mighty sea, hear my wails
As I lament my shattered dreams
Destiny, like a cruel, unyielding force
Has stolen my every hope it seems
I weep, helpless and lost
Beside your vast expanse
The waves crashing, echoing my pain
As I pine for a second chance
Oh, destiny, why must you be so unkind?
Why must you thwart my every plan?
I thought I had a path to follow
But now I'm adrift in the shifting sand
The seagulls cry in sympathy
As I pour out my heart to the sea
Hoping for some understanding
In this desolate place where I long to be free
But destiny is a stubborn foe
It laughs in the face of my pleas
Leaving me with nothing but tears
As I beg for a glimpse of what could be
So I'll cry my tears, salty as the sea
And let them wash away my sorrow
Hoping that someday destiny will relent
And grant me a brighter tomorrow.
