Road To The Past

I saw the old roads I'd travelled

Nothing much has changed there.

Roads I've travelled for oh so many years,

And I walked them one more time,

On a trip to times, past and lost 

Which I wish now, had it never ended.

Oh Time, take me back to that place

Where I left myself, never to grow old.

Take me back to that time

When sorrow has not eaten me alive.

Take me back to those people

Who were the beings of my jolly little time.
