Restless

Restless

The dark outside,

Distant glints of light.

Ghost on the curtain, just a shadow.

The rustling of leaves winds that blow.

The dark outside,

It'll be gone with the break of dawn.

But I am afraid of the dark inside...

Baggage of the past, too heavy.

Countless dream, that could be...

I close my eyes, a terror strikes,

Losing awareness of existence...

What happens if I never emerge from it!

The clock ticks away and strikes three,

As I lie in my bed, an insomniac...

Afraid of the dark inside.
