R- Respite from the scorching heat

A- A drop fell on my chubby cheeks

I- Indeed, summer rain has arrived

N- Now, trees are a big showoff

D-Drops of magic bring leafless bough to life

R- Refreshed plants spring in unlikely  places

O- Open are arms of trees for birds to   sing

P- Pitter patter of rain on the leaves

S-Summer rain brings forth new life and   verdure
