PRESAGE IN POVERTY

I am a poor creature

Human is my nomenclature

It is human alone can comprehend such naming with clamor

But poverty engulfs me with sheer agony, I cannot visualize the nomenclature’s glamour!

 

Human do understand the pain of majority who are in misery

Few show charity to me like many

Only to satiate themselves with ecstasy

Not caring how we are struggling only to eke out devoid of any symphony

They are showering sympathy, not showing empathy

And taking pride out of their manifestation of generosity!

 

But poor like me if do not exist

Can their generosity at all persist?

Though they could evidently envisage

Our jeopardy only scripting their presage

You meagre populace

I wonder how you exist with grace

Majority are hoodwinked by your alluring populace

Don not forget please

Majority is the driving force of world history to script with ease

Where minority always being eclipsed with the majority’s wave of rift as a natural gift!

 

I have a solace

Today is not mine which I express with grimace

But tomorrow will surely bring a new sunshine

Where I can bath with new energy and rejuvenate myself with a hope to dine

Light is the only catharsis

It only dispels darkness with vigor and promotes greater emphasis.

 

Today due to poverty I am starving

Yet I am not begging

I know today few may enjoying profusely with cake

But tomorrow surely they cannot afford even bread.

All matters in and around our vicinity containing an inherent truth

It is having nothing to do with human consciousness despite it appears as rude

It do express its entity

Making a reflection honestly in our cerebral abruptly with ample clarity

We are bemused by its sudden emergence

It makes a vibrant role to design our social fabric with exuberance

And reconstruct it with glee in magnificence

Where majority may eat to live, but not to live to eat with due reverence!
