Ponderous Endeavour

Anointed for the greatest emotional pains is my undertaking,

The tribulations to crush the weakest minds as its condensation,

To another challenge with heavier anvils always rotating,

I'm Waverly navigating mentally muggy waters migrating,

Another demon deferred to another obscured always waiting,

Life's tests to take what's best, 

Only to envelope with barriers constricting,

Deaths always brooding with darkness looming and concentrating,

A step forward in the light reflects my sight back, I'm blinded as it's intoxicating,

Striving for change to rescale the pain,

Seemingly without end and reverberating,

My many triumphs so small, but the constant failures are obliterating,

Life's sawed always reciprocating, 

Cutting down my spirit to be incapacitating,

I reach forward denied as I tried to hold together everything disintegrating,

Lost between my fingers, 

Only the pain lingers with feelings so excruciating,

My life entwined in strife seeps so deep within, 

I can't breathe as I'm suffocating,

This Ponderous Endeavour started with the devil's lever, soon to be detonating,

My love has endured the worst, 

The best is coming as I continue life's figure skating.
