Pink - Femininity, Playfulness, and Romance

After completing a long day in college,

After being crammed with notes and knowledge,

Daisy was tired but wanted to unwind,

Apparently she had a lot on her mind 

Her grades were always A-plus,

She had scored marks in surplus,

But she felt she was missing a spark,

Though in sunshine, she felt as if in dark 

She walked into a garden so beautiful 

Her heart jumped with joy bountiful

Different birds sat on the trees chirping 

Nature's voice was indeed soothing 

Something fluttered and caught her eye

A pink butterfly was hovering by

It was so happy just to hop on flowers

One of the nature's scenic wonders 

It finally chose a 'daisy' flower to sit 

And Daisy's heart missed a beat

She felt in her the energy of life

It had been hidden in moments of strife 

This moment filled her with vibes positive

Pure joy, romance and thoughts inquisitive

If a butterfly has power to make me feel so happy

I would be capable of so many things, wouldn't I? 

Sometimes I may find good flowers

At times sharp thorns and blight

But I must keep hopping in the garden

Where I find darkness, I must be the light! 

Maybe I should look at life around me

And enjoy life for what it is

Thinking so, Daisy started back home

Happy with her newfound bliss.
