Period

     

They say it's a sign of puberty

But I feel it's all stupidity

Deadly cramps in my stomach 

Laying down on my bed like a lazy duck

It couldn’t get any worse 

When I knew I still had pending chores

Only my body knew the pain 

While everyone else thought I was wasting my day in vain.
