Online Classes

Oh! A complete turnover it seemed,

For what happened hadn’t been dreaming,

A shift from offline to online classes

Did not quite appeal to the masses!

Disappeared those chitter-chatters

Which included many different matters,

Faded the classroom and the playground,

As we sat in front of the laptop, housebound!

Changed all the morning assemblies

To sleepy morns, as the fun was ceased.

Alone we sat without joy,

Feeling irritated and annoyed!

The online classes now rule

Those wonderful days of school,

With a strong desire for those days,

I console myself “It’s just a phase!”
