Festive Vibes!

The work starts the previous night,

Of cleaning the houses shining bright,

Arched at the entrance, are the mango leaves,

Creating a mood, where no one grieves!

 

Excitement going around everywhere,

With the scent of flowers in the air,

And a rangoli that adds colour and glee,

And is satisfying for the eyes to see!

 

In their new attires, looking charmed and chic,

Are the people, perfect for a click!

So pretty are the jingling bangles,

Which dazzle on the dress’s spangles.

 

The genuine prayers and blessings,

Make a mood of divinity in the dwellings.

Seeking the best with a pure mind,

Leads to the peace that we find!

 

Lunch is definitely foodies’ favourite,

Where they savour every bite of it,

Eating on banana leaf makes it special

Adding onto it is the final betel!

 To the old journey, the festival
