Odd Wounds and Tender Sounds
Odd Wounds and Tender Sounds
A poem on Child labour
Every tender little heart
Is lucky enough to play in the grass and grounds
Amidst the smile-filled sunny days
With their wonderful peers surrounded around them.
This age is to learn and play
Against the odds of future's mighty decisions.
What is more important than educating young thirsts
And gifting them a life of knowledged envision.
It is better to instill education in our kids today
Rather than regretting their mischief and misery later in wonder.
Gift them education today in such a way that
They could make you proud
Beyond your visible generations.
Closing your child's eyes against education
Is belittling your awareness against advancement.
A parent who neglects education for children
Paves way to sustain poverty and ignorance.
Give books to their hands
Instead of pain-filled rust and dust
They will repay you with trophies, knowledge and success
Which will surely grab your happy tears in joy.
Fiery fire on frightened eyes
Rusty wires in tender hands
Droplets of wages to their unnecessary physical hardwork
This is not so nice to do to our little ones.
Help them to know the destination of their dreams,
The designation of their future designs
And the world they want to live in.
Education is undoubtedly an indestructible asset.
Your child can have potential dreams beyond your current desires;
Today's kids either create wonders
Or just wonder in silent pain
Do you want your child to sink in heartful tears?
A parent educating a child
Is like a person helping a dying tree to grow
Pour more knowledge today
To reap proud-filled moments tomorrow.
The next strong step is yours
To gift your future generations for the privilege of education
To render and enjoy better knowledge, health and wealth
Through educating your kids today.
