None Can Suppress Her

None Can Suppress Her

‘Outspoken’

Is what they call her

When she speaks her mind

They teach her to act docile

Which includes ‘not speaking her mind’.

She is put off,

Like strong gusts of wind

Blowing over a bright candle flame.

After years of depression, pain and self-torture,

She is kindled again,

But this time, she will not let the hefty winds put her off again

For She has understood that

None can suppress Her,

That gloom is not forever,

Soon the Sun will rise and outshine the darkness.

This time, She will

Rise higher,

Stand stronger,

Shine brighter and

Speak rhetoric and passionate,

For she has experienced torment

And has uncountable scars

Which She has turned into her Armour.

She is her own knight in Shining Armour.
