Abstract Tragedy Children

Night Silence

Night Silence

When I look at the bright blue sky,

The only thought that emerges in my mind is why am I born. Why?

In a world that is dominated by hatred and inhumanity,

I seem to slowly lose my agility.

But the stars in the sky wraps me in their calm silence and discharges me temporarily from my responsibility.

When the sun rises in the east,

I give out a deep sigh and start running to fulfill the needs and demands of my family at least.

But when the sun sets in the west,

I get a little amount of time to think about rest.

But that is not it!

I will have to prepare meals and tidy up the entire house for everyone to eat and comfortably sit.

When I think about taking a rest for a little time,

There comes my grandma asking for a cup of lime.

By then the time passes away,

And I have got nothing to say.

The kids with their tea cups urge me to play.

Well! I find it really hard to turn them down and say a big loud 'Nay'.

If I could, I would have found a way.

After putting them to sleep in bed,

My hands and legs ache in pain and would have turned red.

I make myself a cup of tea,

And look at the dark yet bright sky as if it was a sea.

I sit on the chair next to the window sill,

And consume a few stress pills.

I close my eyes to enjoy the moment of being alone,

With no responsibility and rings of phone.

This is the only time in my life,

I am not hurt inch by inch by responsibility as a knife.

When I look at the bright blue sky,

The only thing I do is give out a happy non-permanent cry.
