Nature's Paintings

Mother nature is an artist

With an eye for pretty pictures.

She paints the sky most wonderfully

And I love her coloured mixtures.

A blazing sun, a bright moon

And galaxies of twinkling stars.

The clouds so dark, the lightning spark

And thunders which make me scared.

A sunny day, a moonlit night

A rainy morning which forecasts right.

The falling leaves, the changing seasons

Fill this life with meanings and reasons.

I wonder what a magic spell!

The returning feathers at the evening bell

As the setting sun flaming red

Hides behind the hills like bed

With hues of life dark and bright

Dews on the grass make me light

Oh! It is indeed wonderful

Nature's paintings are unbeatable!
