My tribute to the unsung hero of my life, 

Who inspired, motivated and nurtured without strife, 

Always there to back me up in all the explorations of life, 

Encouraged me to pursue my dreams beyond the role of a wife

Who in his journey ahead beyond this physical self

Unleashed the hidden, untouched and forgotten self, 

To seek newer and varied expressions, 

Regain my confidence and strength in these new impressions, 

Articulations which gave me solace and peace, 

Creating his soothing presence in every masterpiece, 

Looking back on my journey so far, 

Seemingly unimaginable and afar, 

Most are faced with drastic upheavals in life, 

Mine continues to be a never ending romance beyond life.
