Modern Love
Modern Love
It seemed a romantic love story not so long ago,
With each passing day his fondness seem to grow,
Those initial days of wooing her at each & every pretext,
She understood each & every emotion & context
Yet ignorance she feigned just not to encourage
Relentless in his attempt he failed to be discouraged,
Shaking her head at the couplets that he would send,
Encouraging him to document his poems till the end,
Even now their light-hearted bantering and teasing continues to echo,
The tinkling laughter & the purity of love would now cease to echo.
