It is when I saw you for the first time

Long hair, sharp eyes, pleasant face

With a genuine smile.

I just couldn't take my eyes off you

Don't know why

Then, I didn't know who you were

And had zero knowledge about the game.

You were the reason for me to watch cricket

And you would be the reason for me to quit

Everything inside that stadium is you for me

My eyes will always be searching for you

No matter how many players are around

Everything you do seems right

And anyone who praises you would be my friend

One glance at you makes me smile

One tear in your eyes makes me cry

One shot is enough to give me goosebumps

My all-time captain

You would always be loved

I envy two beautiful ladies in your life

The one you chose as your wife

And the one God chose for you

Your little munchkin Ziva

But I love them too as you do.

We may never meet

But even if we do, I want to tell you that

I love you and this one life of mine is only for you.

The words would be flowing
