My Inside Sun
My Inside Sun
Water quenches my thirst,
And you quench
The thirst for life of my life.
Burying my past
torture,
Carving a gentleman
From a ruffian,
You raised the flame
Of unfathomable love in me.
Beneath your Raven hair,
You shed me
And the black past fails
To elude me from
Peaceful sleep
In your cozy lap.
With the indelible
Ink of love,
You jot down my new story
On the paper of life.
Looking at your
Ravishing face
And your profound eyes,
My inside Sun rises
And sets at the justifiable time.
