My Bike The Yezdi Roadking
My Bike The Yezdi Roadking
In my final year of engineering, I got my first motorbike
The second biggest of all the bikes available at that time.
Rightly called the Roadking, the most beautiful thing a guy can have
From the house of Yezdi with dual silencer and 250cc of pure muscle, wow
With a low center of gravity, it churned out a whooping 16 brake horsepower
All of the black and red stripes with plenty of chrome shining bright
An engineering marvel where the kick start lever turned into the gear shaft, did you know,
Few gentle strokes with love and it roared to full life with me aglow,
Our vibrations connected us as one and off we would go
Cruising speedily into the maddening and crowded city if you must know,
Fill it, shut it and forget it, should have been its caption, for all you know
In the true sense, the bike was my first true love
Emotionally I can relate it to a woman for all I know
It gave me joy, happiness, responsibility and a sense of fulfillment
Just like a woman, it carried me gracefully and never complained
How much I repent for letting her go, only my soul will know
I did take good care of her but with an immature small heart,
When a real woman came into my life, there was no room for her you know
Probably she didn't like the competition and decided to go
I didn't miss her then, but I do terribly now
Now again I wish to ride her into the deep blue horizon
Only me and her with all the excitement and goodness in tow.
