My baby is the apple of my eye...

At work when I feel low,

And minutes seem to pass slow.

All of a sudden I think of you

Out of everyone else, just you...

At home I watch you play in my lap,

In a while you are taking a nap!

'Plop!' peep out my antennas,

And I see a solution to all my dilemmas.

On Sundays, my playful baby girl puts up a fight!

To coax you, I hug you tenderly tight!

Everything then seems alright,

As you brighten up my life.

The twinkle of my eye,

A super cute little pie,

The best ever darling angel

My sweet sweet baby girl.

Every single morning,

When the sun is up and shining,

I hold you tight in my arms,

Thinking, 'Gosh! I am a Mom!'

Every single night,

When I put you to sleep,

I realize once again,

That I love you true and deep.

Your chocolate brown eyes,

And picture perfect smile.

Your cute little fingers,

Are so puny and tender.

Someday, time will tell,

All about how well we can gel.

Right now, when its you and me,

The air is always filled with glee.

Oh Yes! I have with me,

My daughter, my mini me!
