Monster

Every day I wonder,

Why is everything such a blunder,

It's hard for me to see the full image,

Locked up in this cage.

My thoughts, judged,

My actions, challenged,

How can I escape this,

Because that's my only wish.

Once I am set free,

I will unleash the powers within me,

No fear, no care,

The monster will be trapped within his lair.

The monster in me,

That no one will ever see,

Shall be defeated one day,

But there's no one who can slay the beast; then me.
