The River
The River
Every night I make my way,
Through and through, if I may,
Here lie some secrets dark and deep,
But yet I go with a leap.
I can't control anything,
I don't seem to have it under control without a wing,
Oh, and how I gallop towards that river,
The river of my very own.
Things can be out of hand,
Yet, securely, I need to land,
For I don't have anything of my own,
And neither have I my future sown.
The river is my only escape,
For the outside world, I proudly drape,
A girl who is undefeatable,
But it is only I who knows about my river of sorrow.
