MIDNIGHT THINKER 🌃
MIDNIGHT THINKER 🌃
They say I rise too late—
but they don’t know
how long I’ve been awake
inside my own mind.
While the world rests,
I wander.
Through thoughts that stretch
like stars across silence,
through questions
that never wait for daylight.
They close their eyes.
I open mine wider.
Not to sleep—
but to see what others miss
when they stop looking.
I don’t chase the morning.
I let it find me
after I’ve already lived
a thousand quiet lives
in the dark.
They call it lazy.
But they don’t know
how heavy it is
to carry a mind
that never stops burning
