Meeting With Woods
Meeting With Woods
Here is a brook I behold
In the greenish dazzling wood
Many birds came many went on
Casting their ethereal chirping on
Decorated deer springing hereon
Show the airs craving for the horizon
Trumpeting pachyderms break
Break the peace at a quick freak
Tiger and tigress begin their lovely
The mating trick at a grumbling jolly
Monkeys jump here and there on
The stout branches of a grey banyan
Pythons lurking and swallowing on
A weeping boar that tries to move on
The mongoose battles with the snake
Trying it's best to tear it without a brake
The solitary reaper reaps her harvest
Squatting in the cornfield in haste
With reversed mask and open breast
She upholds the dignity of tribal forest
Young men and women end the picnic
Wrapping the utensils in a hurried click
Mobile rings warn them to come back
To their respective urban hood at a jerk
The setting sun beckons behind the hill
To please go back soon, never self-kill
Vespers covered the wood as a daredevil
Shadow with an alarm call for nightfall.
