A Land Of Unicorns

I dream of a mystic land far away,

Free of all earthly sorrows and dismay.

A land where lies no cause of tears,

And you can forget your pain and fears.

Inhabited by creatures so pure and innocent,

Yet possessing immeasurable strength.

Beasts with silvery mane and hide,

They walk this mystical land with pride.

Their magical horn has the power to heal,

Love and kindness is all they feel.

Killing them is a deed so foul,

That it will forever burden thy soul.

A land where there is no reason to mourn,

The enchanting land of unicorns.

I know they don’t exist for real,

But my dreams lead me to this land surreal,

And I believe in this world of fantasies,

To escape the harsh reality.

I wish our world could be like theirs too,

But Alas! Wishes hardly come true.

So when death finally approaches me,

I will slide in its arms happily.

Diving into this inevitable slumber I will pray,

That my endless sleep takes me away,

Some day to this heavenly ground,

Where love and peace can at last be found.
