AUTUMNAL FLAVOUR

 AUTUMNAL FLAVOUR

Autumnal leaves are shedding from the tree
Twinkling stars are winking at the moon in the sky

Floating white clouds are covering the moon
Hooting owl on the tree top is staring at the flying bats

Granny starts telling story sitting on the carpet under the autumnal clear sky
bathing herself fully with
full moon beams

Grand children enjoying
Fairy stories sleeping around their granny
Grandpa leaning on the armchair smoking hukah
with the sips of tea and putting ears to granny
Interruping talks of grandpa hampers the mood of the grand kids

Mom serves dinner on the open mats
Goddess Durga pandal lightened with incandescent lights
Puppet, drums and bugles beguile the rural folks

Both Non veg and veg recipes
satisfy the rural people with their delicate flavors
Autumnal effulgence is a unique elixir for the mankind

O my fellow citizens, come on to the village meadow leaving the town park
Let us enjoy in full swing
the great and enlightened autumnal essence

Forgetting all our distress for ever to be reunited with all the returns of Autumns as long as our breaths permit us
