Love is hearing the baby's laughter,

Love is a cow saved from slaughter!

Love is a garden in full bloom,

Love is the quiet night of new moon!

Love is roses and orchids and marigolds,

Love is the rose on a signal sold!

Love is red, sometimes pink,

Love is to see a coma patient blink!

Love is the safety of your arms around me,
