Love in Time of Corona

It was then that he realised,

He had fallen in love with her,

When he saw her talking to a 

Patient,

How beautiful she was without

a Mask.

She saw him, smiled, then put back her mask on.

He followed her as she went from patient to patient.

She was a nurse of that he was sure,

She paused in her rounds, asked him,

Why he was following her?

He smiled, told her he was

In love with her,

She removed her mask said

I am a lesbian,

So what he said I am a gay;

Why cannot we be a pair together,

Two people who love each other,

Whatever their sexual preference,

She smiled took his hand said

let's walk together,

Love has no sexual choices it happens just like that,

So two lonely souls falling in love,

In these difficult days when corona is stalking everyone,

Came together to fall in love to show the world,

 Love conquers all, clears all paths.
