Lost Innocence

Wind whistling

snow glistening,

We we try not to

But but we are all listening.

Loud screams

bad dreams,

It is very far

but close it seems.

Sad day

lost our way,

All that we can do

Is simply pray.

Innocence gone

life no longer long,

We may not know it

but we are all doing wrong. 

Joy lost

the Holocaust,

We look to see

Many hearts covered in frost.

Wars fought 

sins taught,

Making mistakes 

while hoping not to be caught. 

Not taking blame.

while others are looking for fame,

But as advanced as we are 

we are still all un-tamed. 

Too much pride 

and needing a guide,

We all debt it

but behind lies we hide.

Hurting others

betraying brothers,

While many forget 

to appreciate mothers.

Lies are so often fed

filling others hearts and their heads,

Through all of the years 

innocent blood has been shed.

Children are being abandoned

and they are left lonely and stranded,

It seems like we are waisting the life 

That we have all been handed.

Taking from the poor

we are not really loving anymore,

We fight to be free

but we just end up starting a war.

People starting fights

no longer enjoying the sights,

While mere mortals are taking 

our God-given rights.

Soldiers killed

Void cannot be filled,

Pay close attention

for pure souls have been tilled.

We need to somehow find peace

So we can work together like geese,

But the greatest of all

THE HATES JUST NEEDS TO CEASE !!
