The waterline under my feet,

Made me witness things I recall undone.

Beside me was someone, but I'm always alone.

They asked me when I'd be done,

Truth be told I'm never done.

I won nothing in my life,

I'm my own housewife.

Twice the blood,

Twice the flooded floor,

Twice the score on the game they played,

The score I never slayed 'cause I play safe,

My head is always on a rave.

The voices speak, they say I'm too weak,

There's nothing I can change, nothing to tweak.

I wanted the closure from someone

But I'm sick, the medicine never did kick,

They always left me for another ride.

The things I used to do, I might

Never regret them, I settle them,

I believe them better than anyone else,

I have trust issues, what else?

All the women I caught,

They were only here for what I wrote,

I caught myself on a boat,

In the middle of the ocean,

For a moment I was conscious,

'Till I hit the land.

My feet on the sand

Tasted like sea shells on my plate at home.

I forgot everything but a hair comb.

But on a sight like this, my image doesn't matter.

The fish rather swim the dim light on my room,

As my imagination crafts them in the loom.

They're the only thing that still shines alive.
