Lock Heart
Lock Heart
Walk a tightrope,
Or Lock your heart.
Balance in life,
Is a difficult art.
Love can bind,
Or set you free.
The choice is yours,
A bird or tree.
See that heart,
Hung out to dry.
But be thou careful,
When you do pry.
Pursed like lips,
Hiding a secret,
Forever in a trance,
As if an egret.
Locked in forever,
Name of the lover.
Love is a spirit
You drink, yet be sober.
Rope tied tight,
With a Gordian knot.
Love is the same,
All comes to naught.
No Alexander will
Solve the puzzle.
Vain all attempts,
Vain all struggle.
Seldom do we find
Such a riddle,
With which we can
Just sit and cuddle.
Shackles are broken,
When we do see,
That love is the lock,
And love is the key.
