Life's Unfair Rhyme

Life's Unfair Rhyme

Few more months and I will be gone

I'll have to leave the house where I was born.

Packing up the memories, taking all the things

I'll fly away from here along with my wings.

Leaving them with whom I lived for years,

Taking only their blessings, with loads of tears.

Sharing my life with someone strange,

It is difficult; but easy for life to change.

Will that someone love me like my father

Or there will be no one for me to even bother

Yes I'm excited, but a little scared

Soon I'll be paired, but will I be given care?

Nowadays, I think this time and again

Because I'll be gone and then

Why do we meet and why do we part,

From those who are part of our hearts?

So, here I am, as confused; now taking a depart

Yet not able to answer my heart,

That why only girls have to compromise all the time

And move ahead singing life's unfair rhyme.
