Life Lost
Life Lost

Nobody cherished the birth,
No garlands of loving arms in youth.
None were there to wipe tears
When shrouded with fears.
Own children now of age
Treated like a side on stage,
Purpose of wealth losing sheen
Friends very few, in between,
Listened
Only to tell, don't be in a hurry.
It was one whole life spent
What to do and where to go.
Cold hearth and hearts could not bind
She left the homely stage
In the pinnacle of age
For none to be found,
It was her life, bereft of all love
Till she died
One day, lay forlorn by a roadside
But the calm on her face
Whilst living, none did find.
