Musings of the heart

Tangled in the rhythm of the day,

Embracing the chaos, the relentless exhaustion of my mundane existence.

Hanging by a thread, to let loose, to set free,

To let out a far-fetched cry that seeps through all my crevices and sinks in me.

The tingling sensations, the burning desires,

When the thumping stops and my heart skips a beat,

And the dark between the stars finally makes sense to me.
