Life In Space And Time
Life In Space And Time
Life is beautiful but not a dream,
Life is dutiful but not a whim.
Life is competition, a sort of race,
Life is mutual and maintains a pace.
Days dawn, nights fall, years slog on,
Seasons advent to break the monotone.
Does it happen, far and wide,
at the stroke of an hour?
Does a beat of prayer make
Earth changes its colour?
Nay, we wonder, and witness
the caprices of Nature!
Time and Space hold on to their
unchartered venture.
You turn the pages of your life
in these coordinates,
You look at the past, see the present,
stare in dark at what awaits.
Moving through this unknown
traces of Space and Time,
Making yourself useful to others
in rhythm and rhyme,
A task, fraught with frazzling freaks,
yet carried in stride and chime.
Life in Space and Time, a tiny dot
in an unfathomable vastness,
Never failed to leave its imprint,
With courage, aims and obsess.
Message, loud and clear, from prints of mankind
Awake, arise, and stop not till the goal you find.
