Let Them Be Just Men
Let Them Be Just Men
In the society of stereotypes,
Every eye is judgemental,
Prejudices regarding every one,
Be it an infant, man, or woman,
Even diseases are not spared,
Illness is gender-biased too.
Breast cancer confined to females,
But if in males considered a taboo,
A question on their masculinity,
A black spot on superior gender,
It's not cancer that breaks a man,
It's the society that makes him ill.
Be it the size of genitals or mustaches,
Associated with his manliness,
Even in pain can't shed tears,
What a hypocrite this society is,
Keeping preconceptions above lives,
Cancer not only infect breast in females,
But can contaminate a male's chest.
Chemotherapy can cure the disease,
But when would this predispose cease?
Let them talk about their pain
Let their sufferings be taken care
Fight against breast cancer
Let that life live, that gender be spared
