One lazy summer afternoon
gazing at the faded moon,
no stars in sight
the sky so bright.
I had nothing to do
except to sleep through
waiting for the summer midnight
dream to come true.
Suddenly I saw circles
In the still pond waters
enlarging without matters,
sign of dream shatters.
A crazy summer afternoon,
an evening with a cool moon.
Now I have lot to do
making it sure thru-n-thru
summer midnight dream to come true.
Life is morning, life is noon
hot bright sun in the afternoon
evening with or without moon.
Then comes night, summer midnight,
hazy morning but soon sunlight.
