It also sends most of us into a downward spiral

We mentally compare ourselves to the perceived beauty

The commercial segment defines the standards of beauty

They use this perception for marketing their products

Little do they care about the impact on the people

After all, everything is fair in love, war and business

The concept of beauty is redefined and crafted

The market decides on these terminologies

Some people are confident to embrace their uniqueness

Others succumb to the social pressure

Most people pretend that they are happy

While they weep and criticise themselves in secret

However, beauty is not just about the skin

It is not what the eyes see

It is something that is deep within us

It is what we feel and relishes

It is Kalon
