I’ve never felt so alone

With so many people around

No one really understands

What’s going through my mind

I try to explain

& show them what I feel

But all they do is listen

Without their ears

I’ve never felt so alone

With so many people close by

No one knows how I feel

No matter how hard I try

I try to pick up the pieces

But when alone it’s so hard

Too many sharpened edges

Waiting to tear me down

Like no one is really around

There’s no one there

To help push me through this time

To be who they see

But I don’t know who is she?

Because it’s not me

With a room full of love

No one to hold me close
