Inspiration Behind My Writing

The very first poem of mine I remember,

It wasn't that good or night was not worth reading

But still, it was appreciated by my mother

She smiled in a way that inspired me

After all, that was a day when

I saw my mother, standing there on a stage

Reciting her self written poem in front of a huge crowd

I was mesmerized and; gazed at her

That was the day I began writing,

My inspiration behind my writing

My support, my mother
