Insights Of A Teacher

With an important responsibility on my shoulders,

To nurture the future of the world,

I spend each day,

To give them the knowledge of each and every word.

 

I have to part with my own family,

To flourish the new one,

It takes years of passion and determination,

To make this happen!

I work hard to make sure,

That they should succeed,

I give them the moral values,

And motivate them to perform good deeds. 

I try to read their mind,

So that the concept is understood by each one,

For that, I also put myself in their shoes,

As their parents had done.

“I don’t weigh your potential,

By the ‘numbers’ you gain,

For me, every child is a topper.”

This is what I explain.

I utilise my whole experience,

To show them the right way,

For their success story,

Foundation stones I lay.

I shape their souls, 

By giving them a life lesson,

‘They’ are my students,

And I am a teacher by profession.
