Describing Nature
Describing Nature
Flowing rivers, sky touching mountains and all the greenery we see,
The wildlife around us, which is set free.
These all come under one term,
From long which we study,
"It" is a so vast topic that
"It" has to be covered by an extra subject called Geography!
Some worship it as their god,
"It" unifies us as ‘we’,
Mother of both flora and fauna,
"It" is considered to be.
Sometimes “it” takes the form of raindrops,
Sometimes we see "it" as a tree,
For humans, its healing power
Acts as a remedy.
“It” is the provider of all the resources
With our eyes which we see
But, by polluting and wasting its precious gifts,
We hurt its feelings and sense of sympathy.
“It” had forgiven all our previous mistakes,
And had blessed us with prosperity
But, then also we continued our job,
Which gradually crossed its tolerating capacity.
The bigger the thing is,
More dangerous is its ferocity,
"Its" rage can be seen now also,
In the form of flood and other calamity.
Realizing and improving our mistakes
Is the one and only key,
By reducing pollution and keeping cleanliness,
We can convey our apology.
Till now you would be thinking,
Who “it” can be?
If “it” has to be replaced by a word,
“Nature” it would be.
